Several days of twittering birds and above freezing temps had me thinking that spring had come to Buffalo, but last night's snow was a reminder that it's still only February. But that means it's still prime time for planning my garden. Whereas last year I planted flowers, this year I'm going to be focusing on veggies.
The plan thus far:
I'm going to use the previous owner's fire pit as a planter, filling it in with a mix of potting soil and our own bunny manure, and grow melons, cucumbers, and winter squash.
I'm also going to do a 4 x 4 raised bed in the back.
