Organizing Craft Supplies
When it come to getting your crafting gear in order, there are some ideas that have made the rounds; keep pens and pencils in a can or cup, put tiny things in an empty egg carton or chocolate box, and thread spools of ribbon or trim on dowls. You can keep sheets of stickers and decorative paper neat in file folders, and keep larger numbers of beads or buttons in jars or lidded plastic containers. What I don't have a good storage solution for is yarn. As an avid knitter, I have a good-sized yarn stash. My current storage method has the yarn skiens and balls gathered by color in plastic grocery bags, and those sacks are gathered in a larger trash bag. Does it keep the yarn together? Yes, but I'd prefer a more elegant arrangement.
